Class Description: For homeschoolers and public schoolers. This weekly workshop we will story build, world develop, character sketch and conclude with creating our own comic book. Each student will go home with their very own self published book! First class we will lay out the elements and decide the basic outline of our story. We will begin character design and world design. Second class we will explore the ideas and concepts of different comic backgrounds. Third class we’ll design the comic. Fourth class we will put everything together and bind our comics! Each class will also touch a little bit on the history of comics as a story-telling device. All supplies will be provided.
