Our ASL class was successful this summer and we wanted to continue to provide opportunities for folks to learn and practice ASL, so we are offering a monthly meetup this fall.

Folks will meet up monthly to practice and learn ASL.  This will be an informal gathering hosted by Kristi Mackey (Masters of Education in Communicative Disorders and Deaf Education) and Malia Goddard (certified ASL interpreter).  This meetup is open to people of all experience levels, including absolute beginners.

Time: Second Tuesdays, 6:00 – 7:30
Cost: $40/semester
Age: Everyone! Kids 7 and under should be accompanied by an adult
Skill Level: Everyone!

We are trying to strike a balance between inclusivity on the medically fragile side as well as understanding that masks can hide facial features that are used in ASL.  Our instructors will not be wearing masks.  We’ll ask that attendees wear masks if possible when weekly cases exceed 200 per capita (CDC Yellow).
