Summer Camp is here! We are offering a couple of week-long half-day options. We may add more, but we don’t want to over commit with such a quickly changing environment.
We’ll be based outside of Family Strengths Network and using their building for bathrooms and wifi. We plan to hike, play in the sprinklers, program robots, make messes, and generally have a lot of unstructured fun. We may walk to playgrounds, hold soccer tournaments, build forts out of sticks or take naps in the grass. The kids will largely take the lead on this one.
ART CAMP (July 12 – 16, $20 supply fee): All of these same things, but we’ll have glue guns and paint, recyclables and found items. Each day the kids will spend some time making. Our instructor, Ashley, is pretty amazing and will have some fun ideas, but this will not be very structured.
CIRCUIT CAMP (July 19 – 23, $20 supply fee): All of these same things, but we’ll have the makings for cardboard circuits. At the end of the week, kiddos will take home the cardboard modules they have made and be able to continue using them for future projects.
MICRO:BIT CAMP (July 26 – 30, $30 supply fee): All of these same things, but we’ll each kid will have a BBC Micro:bit to play with and then take home to be their own. We may design some cases for them to be 3D printed using tinkercad if there is time and interest.
