Speaker Series

Spring 2021

The 2021 Spring Speaker Series was hosted by the Los Alamos Teen Center (https://laymca.org/los-alamos-teen-center) and the Los Alamos Youth Activity Center (https://lafamilycouncil.org/youth-activity-center/).

There were four speakers:

• Erin Green - Finding Your Story

  • A discussion of character and plot development in game design.

• David Jones - Collaboration in Game Design

  • A discussion of the roles in a modern Game Dev Company and how they work together.

• Lowell Wofford - Version Control

  • An overview of what version control is, why we need it, and how to get started.

• Jake Green - Graphics

  • A brief history of game design roles and a look at the principal behind the graphics that are created.
