Los Alamos STEAM Lab offers birthday parties for children ages 3 and up. Parties are available on Saturdays from 2 – 4 and Sundays from 2 – 4, depending on facility and instructor availability.
Birthday Parties include access to our drop-in space and are facilitated by one of our instructors. Students are free to explore and create, or we will work with you to create a more specific theme for your party. Ideas include sewing your own LED plushie or Lego Robotics Challenges. Depending on the material cost and prep time, these may come with an additional charge.
You will have the exclusive use of our facility for the birthday party, though Samizdat Bookstore may be open. You may bring your own refreshments and decorations, but all food and drink must stay outside and children must wash before returning to our drop-in space.
The cost for hosting a birthday party is $100 for up to 10 children. Up to 10 more children may attend for an additional $50. Attendance (and subsequent price) is to be confirmed two weeks before the date of the party to allow for adequate staffing.
