This purchase is an auto-renewable payment for monthly STEAM Lab After School care. You may cancel at anytime. First child is full price, additional children receive the sibling discount.
After you’ve signed up, I will manually move your second payment to September 25th and future payments will be on the 25th of the month. Breaks and snow days are included in the price as are months with 5 days. Late cancellations will have a 5% surcharge (which is what we are charged by our processor).
First day of camp is September 3rd. We will have August offerings later in the summer that will cover the week before school starts as well as the first full weeks of school.

Details
Time: 3:00 – 6:00
Single Day: $100/month/day for the first child and $75/month/day for siblings
Full Week: $270/month for the first child and $180/month for siblings
Grades: K* – 6
* starting this year we will take a limited number of siblings who are in PreK4. Since they will require additional staffing, the sibling discount will not apply to them.
Any subscription of over $100/month comes with a 25% discount for out of school camps.
Fuller Lodge Art Center
We are collaborating with Fuller Lodge Art Center to offer some variety for our full week students. We will have 10 slots available to allow our kids to go make art at Fuller every Wednesday and for some Fuller kids to come play at STEAM Lab. This is available on a first come, first served basis, though if it proves popular for both programs we may free up additional slots.
If you are signing your child up for this exchange then it is for every Wednesday until you switch their enrollment and not something that can be opted into and out of on a weekly basis. You will need to fill out registration paperwork and emergency information with Fuller Lodge Art Center.
We are piloting this program in the Fall and cannot guarantee its continuation in the Spring.
Themes
These are still a little bit of a work in progress since Fall is a looooong time away. Regardless of the theme and activities for the day we will always allow access to our magna-tiles, marble runs, Lego, board games, and craft supplies for kiddos who just want to play.
Monday – Digital Art
We’ll play uses procreate with apple pencils, learn to make vector graphics in Inkscape, and play around with all sorts of digital design. We’ll have simpler projects for those newer to this art form as well!
Tuesday – Circuits and Stuff
We’ll pull out the snap circuits, micro:bits, scrappy circuits, and more to learn about how circuits work.
Wednesday – Trains
We’ll pull out all of our Duplo trains and build tracks all over the floor. Once a month or so, we’ll step it up by adding coding elements that control the trains and switches.
Thursday – Minecraft and Mario Kart
We’ll get kiddos together to play Minecraft! This time they will play together on the Hive (a public server) or locally in their own worlds. We’ll also run the occasional Mario Kart tourney or play something else on the Switch.
Friday – All Things Coding
All of our coding activities have moved back to Friday! Beginning Coding, Robots, Game Design, everything! We have plenty of activities for emerging readers all the way through experienced coders.
Transportation
We cannot usually provide after-school transportation. However, many of our kiddos (including the occasional counselor) take Atomic City Transit after school. The bus takes them directly from school to a stop outside Fuller Lodge. From there they have a single crosswalk in the business park to cross. We are always happy to connect interested families from the same schools with each other to make transportation easier.
