This listing is for individual weeks of summer camp. We have half-day, full-day, monthly, and extended hour options.
We help your kiddos with reading using the All About Spelling curriculum to teach the rules of phonics using the Orton-Gillingham method which is a evidence based method of teaching dyslexic (and typical) kids to read.
This IS NOT a replacement for proper dyslexia support, but is meant to provide extra support for kiddos who are struggling. This is a scripted curriculum that is administered by our teens. We’ve had good success with it throughout the school year.
The program is meant for kiddos of all ages. We specifically focus on the Spelling curriculum because it provides new material while being less repetitive for kiddos who’ve already had reading instruction at school.
You are signing your kiddo up for 15-30 minutes of instruction and reading that will happen sometime during a two hour window. During the rest of the two hour window kiddos will be allowed free play along side our camp kids. We know many families will miss a couple of days, but since space is very limited, we will not be refunding those days.
Grades: K – 6
Days: Mondays and Wednesdays
Time: 1PM – 3PM
Cost:
* June (3 weeks): $72 one day/week, $135 two days/week
* July (4 weeks): $96 one day/week, $175 two days/week
