Los Alamos STEAM Labs offers a variety of field trips for students of all ages. We have a class set of Cubelets as well as a class set of Ozobots and enough iRobot Roots for kids to work in small groups.
These sets of robots each lead to unique problem solving. We have a variety of introductory lesson plans to walk students through programming concepts while allowing for extended application. All three sets are also useable by pre- and emerging readers.
A typical field trip involves 3 – 4 stations that kiddos rotate through. This includes one or two robot options, our Lego area, and our free play area that includes magnatiles, marble runs, trains, and board games. In our new space we’ll be including our upcoming adventure zone which will include a bouldering wall, trapeze, strap lines, ninja warrior equipment, and more.
Field Trips cost $100 and last 90-120 minutes. We can accommodate up to 30 students. Contact Us to schedule one today!
No field trip budget? Send us a message, we have scholarships available.
Can’t make transportation work? We’ll pack up our robots and come to your class!
