We will be moving across the parking lot to 160 Central Park Square in the New Year. The new location will provide us with a bigger space better suited to our needs. We’ll be able to add a classroom with moveable walls, expand our Lego and play areas, and increase our storage.
One of the changes we’re most excited about is the ability to add an Adventure Zone. We’re going to put down some mats, install a bouldering wall, hang trapeze bars, rings, and ANW lines from the open ceiling, and pull out our strap lines to create a place where all of our busy kids can safely get out their energy.
We’ll also be bringing back classes. A few ideas percolating in our heads are:
* 3D modeling and printing with OpenSCAD
* Cosplay Props with EVA foam
* Game Design with the Godot game engine
* Patternmaking for custom fit clothing
* Linocut Printing
We have enrollment available for our after school program starting immediately or in January. We’ll also be rolling out a crowdfunding campaign for our Adventure Zone as well as all of the new furniture we’ll be needing. There are some fun incentives so keep your eyes out for that! In the meantime enjoy looking at our floorplan in progress.
